Meet Jessica Peterson

Announcer: Our fourth bachelorette is Jessica Peterson of Belladonna Cove. Uh, Jessica, are you ok?
Jessica: I effed up, kids. I was livin' it up in a penthouse on the top of the hill.
Jessica: Now, I'm stuck in this dump of a trailer park.
Announcer: That's rather unfortunate, Jessica. What happened?

Jessica: I had a dalliance with the business partner of my husband, Armand. Armand is a powerful business man. A real shark in the boardroom. But a guppy in the bedroom, if you get my drift.
Announcer: Er-
Jessica: Armand found out about my fling and got a lawyer. I got squat.
Me: You literally screwed yourself over.
Announcer: I thought I was the host here.
Me: Sorry.
Jessica: The penthouse, the money, and the kid all went to Armand. He could have the kid, she was adopted anyway, but I miss my penthouse!
Jessica: And the parties!I miss the parties. Rich folk know how to do it up, you know. With the champagne, and the pate, and the caviar. Now I'm stuck singin' karaoke every Thursday night with my girl Michelle down at Lucky's.
Jessica: Yeah, you can find me, Michelle, and Danielle at Lucky's, singin' karaoke, lookin' for dudes, and takin' coin off stupid high school chicks. Michelle and Danielle, those are my girls. They're real people, you know what I mean?
Jessica: The hoity-toity crowd hang out at Lucky's sometimes too. Slummin' it, I guess. But they pretend not to notice me. You see, Armand got the friends too. Watch this...
Jessica: Hey, Samantha. Long time, no see. How you doin', girlfriend?
Jessica: Just like I thought, won't have nothin' to do with me. I'm not good enough for the clique anymore. That's why I'm going to win the Bachelor's heart. I know how these shows work. Your bachelor ain't gonna be some scrub. He's my ticket back into the inner circle.
Announcer: I'm sorry I asked. Um, good luck?

Meet Chloe Curious-Smith

Announcer: Our third bachelorette is Chloe Curious-Smith from Strangetown.
Chloe: Hey, there. I'm looking forward to meeting the Bachelor. And by the way, this isn't my kid. This is my niece Madison. I wouldn't want the Bachelor to think I'm coming with baggage.
Chloe: I'm just doing this show for the experience, you know. I mean, I'm not hard up to get a man.
Announcer: No one thinks that, Chloe.
Chloe: I'm a very desirable woman.
Announcer: Of course, you are.
Chloe: I have absolutely no problem landing a man.
Announcer: Exactly why are you entering this competition, then?
Chloe: I.need.to.get.out.of.this.house!
Announcer: Ahem, well good luck, Chloe.
Chloe: Hey, Mr. Announcer Man, your voice sounds familiar. Do I know you?
Me: Not like you know Craig, trust me!

I had two other photos in this entry that got deleted by Photobucket for "violating the terms of service." They were just pictures of Chloe in her underwear. There were no private parts exposed, so I don't know why Photobucket thought they were in violation. *sigh* I can hear Laura screaming that I need to get off PB! LOL! :)

Meet Cassandra Goth

Announcer: Our second bachelorette lives in this creepy house in Pleasantview.

Announcer: Say hello to Cassandra Goth.
Cassandra: Gosh, I'm so excited to be a contestant on "The Bachelor." There's nothing I want more than finding that special someone to grow old with.
Announcer: That's right, as a brilliant researcher at Landgraab-Goth Industries,
Announcer: Cassandra is adept at solving all kinds of puzzles, but the mystery of love still evades her.

Announcer: Speaking of mystery, Cassandra was recently reunited with her mother Bella, who had been missing for nearly twenty years.
Announcer: Cassandra's younger brother, Alexander, also lives in the family home.
Casandra: With Mother missing for so many years, I had to become a surrogate mother for Alexander. I know I'm ready to have my own children.
Announcer: If our bachelor is looking for a resilient woman, he need look no further than Cassandra.

Cassandra: My ex, Don Lothario, left me at the altar. I was crushed. Everytime I try to take the decorations down, the whole ordeal replays in my mind and I run upstairs and cry.
Announcer: Uh-
Cassandra: But I'm ready to love again. Don is in the past. I don't even care that he had a child with Dina Caliente...really...I don't.
Announcer: But Cassandra's greatest loss has been the death of her beloved father, Mortimer.
Cassandra: Why, Will? Why did you have to take him?
Announcer: Cassandra is an overcomer, and she's ready for love.
Cassandra: Life is short...unless you get kidnapped by aliens and get twenty years added on to your life...then life is kinda long. Anyway, you have to seize it. I want love and I'm going to seize it. Look out Mr. Bachelor, I'm going to seize you!
Announcer: All righty then. Good luck, Cassandra.
Cassandra: Um, I just thought of something.
Announcer: Yes?
Cassandra: My mom's maiden name is Bachelor. This guy isn't related to me, is he?
Announcer: *facepalm* Let's meet our next bachelorette...

Meet Natasha Una

Announcer (not Me):  Bachelorette #1 is an artist from Desiderata Valley. Meet Natasha Una.
Natasha: Art is my life. The Muse flows within me and I must express myself. Painting is wonderful. A blank canvas is an open invitation to tell a story. I tell it with the colors.
Announcer: Er, neat.

Natasha: There are few pleasures on SimEarth like sculpting. When you feel the clay ooze through your fingers, you become one with Mother Nature and all her creation.
Announcer: Um....
Natasha: But there is one joy in my life that I can't wait to share with the Bachelor, even more than my love of art.
Announcer: And what's that, Natasha?
Natasha: The ooey goodness of a grilled cheese sandwich.
Announcer: *crickets*
Natasha: I have my art. I have my grilled cheese. Now, I just need love, and my life is complete.
Announcer: Ahem, well, good luck, Natasha.

Tour of the Bachelorette Pad

The lovely bachelorettes will be staying in this home in Bluewater Village.
The lot is Coconut Grove by GiveTheNineARide, and can be found on Mod The Sims. Someone in the comments on MTS said, "I wish I could live here." I have to agree.
Here is the front view of the house.
This is the living room where the rose ceremonies will be held.
This is the kitchen. It's small and cozy. A lucky lady may have the opportunity to make dinner with the Bachelor.
Here's the dining room where the ladies will share meals...and hopefully exchange lots of trash talking!
The ladies can barbecue up some burgers and ribs on this covered patio.

The outside patio is my favorite part of the house. The ladies can relax by the pool, on the massage table, or in the hot tub while listening to the soothing trickle of the fountain...

...and the not-too-distant roar of the waves.  Yes, the Bachelorette pad boats a private beach.
Now that you've seen where the ladies will be living during the competition, let's meet the contestants.

The Proposal

Me: Ladies, I'm so happy you could join me. I've gathered you here together to ask you a favor.
Jessica: Why should I do you a favor? You've been doing this blog for over a year, and you haven't even gotten to my hood yet!
Chloe: And my sister is devastated because you wouldn't let her marry Ajay.
Me: Okay, I get it that some of you are displeased with me. But will you please help me?
Natasha: Ladies, I think we should hear her out. Many Simmers pass us over for their own custom Sims, but she's been kind to feature us in her blog. Let her have her say.
Me: Thank you, Natasha. Well, ladies, I've been struggling with the game. I fire it up, but I'm not inspired. I love you guys, and I want to keep telling your story, but I need a diversion to get the juices flowing again.
Chloe: Proceed.
Me: In my world, there is a television program called "The Bachelor." A group of lovely ladies such as yourselves meet a handsome, successful, eligible young man. He goes on a series of dates with you, and at the end he selects the woman that has captivated him the most.
Jessica: You mean I would have to fight with these three broads over one guy?
Me: Well, actually, you would be fighting with six other broads. I have selected you four, and my readers are going to choose the other three contestants.

Natasha: Why on SimEarth would we want to do this?
Me: Because...it would be fun...er, for me. And the lucky girl might just find her husband.
Cassandra: Wait, did you say "husband?"
Jessica, Natasha, and Chloe: CASS!
Me: I did indeed, Cassandra, our Bachelor may choose to propose to his lady at the end. And if he does, I promise to throw you a big wedding.
Cassandra: Where do I sign?

That's right, readers. We're doing "The Bachelor" Sim-Style, and you get to pick the final three contestants. See the poll in the sidebar. The top three vote-getters will join Cassandra, Chloe, Jessica, and Natasha in the Bachelorette pad. Voting ends at 11:59 PM EST on Friday, January 22nd, 2010 .

On Hiatus

With the release of World Adventures and the holiday season approaching, I'd like to focus more on Sims 3 for awhile. Look for MegaMaxis to resume in January. Meanwhile, you can follow the adventures (no pun intended) of hubby and me at http://sunsetvalleydays.blogspot.com/.

Stay Tuned...
